Festivals and Annual Events

Eleuthera is the friendliest place on Earth and attending any sort of festival or homecoming is so much fun! Visitors are welcome…come enjoy the food, music and the welcoming nature of the people…we promise it will be one of your favorite Eleuthera memories. A calendar of events can be found here

Junkanoo

Traditionally held at Christmas and New Years, Junkanoo festivals are sometimes during the summer as well. The performers wear brightly colored costumes and the music is spectacular! If a Junkanoo is happening near you…go! You won’t ever forget it!

Generally Eleuthera’s events start late and last all night. No need to arrive early, except if you want to sample the various dishes from the food stalls.

Pineapple Festival in Gregory Town

Usually occurring the first week in June, this festival is not to be missed! Celebrating the famous Eleuthera pineapples, there is music, amazing food, Junkanoo performances, contests, more food, more pineapples, and a LOT of fun! We highly recommend this.
